About Us
Beatty Nursing & Training Enterprises, LLC was founded in 2002 by our CEO, Gregory Beatty, RN, to meet significant nursing needs in the Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities (IDD) community and to address challenges faced by Developmental Disability Administration (DDA) providers. Applying his extensive experience from both the provider- side of DDA services as well as within DDA as the Central Maryland Regional Office’s Chief of Community Services, Greg identified the need for highly experienced contractual nursing as a cost-effective and stable alternative to “in-house” nursing.
Since BNT’s inception, our company has grown and adapted to meet the changing needs within DDA's network of providers. With a comprehensive team of administrators, quality assurance personnel, and Registered Nurses throughout Maryland, BNT is well-equipped to meet all provider-based nursing support service needs including nursing in Community Living Group Homes (CLGH), Community Day Services (CDS), Day Habilitation (traditional day programs), Personal Support Services (PSS), and Respite Care. Outside of DDA services, we are also available for contractual services of Levels 1 and 2 care with Residential Service Agencies (RSA).
Why Choose BNT?
As a contractual nursing agency, we provide stability and consistency vs. traditional “in-house” nursing. Our nurses often work with the same provider for years and you can expect to have a consistent administrative team assisting with day-to-day nursing operations. We take pride in maintaining our partnerships with DDA providers over many years and growing alongside them.
With over 20 years of delegated nursing experience within DDA services as well as decades of experience in other aspects of DDA including programming, quality enhancement, and funding, you will have access to a highly-qualified team that understands the needs of DDA providers and their individuals. We are well-versed in the regulations, norms, and best practices that guide our work. Additionally, our years of experience have allowed us to develop good relationships with associated governmental and administrative bodies including DDA’s regional offices, the Office of Health Care Quality (OHCQ), and Liberty Health.
We offer a tailored approach to each provider that we partner with. BNT understands that, just like the individuals we serve, every DDA provider is different and requires nursing services that meet the specific needs of your agency. We will work with you to learn the structure, personnel, tools, and policies of your agency and how we can best serve it. We have experience working with numerous healthcare programs include iCareManager, Therap, CaraSolva, and CIMS.
